The VB oil seal is a springless, metal-cased rotary shaft seal designed for applications where low friction, stable housing fit and reliable grease retention are essential. Its rigid metal outer diameter provides excellent dimensional stability, while the single elastomer lip ensures smooth, energy-efficient sealing performance at higher shaft speeds.
The rotary shaft seal VB is available in the materials: NBR, FKM (Viton®), HNBR, ACM, Silicone, CR and EPDM.
Because the oil seal VB type contains no garter spring and relies solely on lip geometry, it is ideally suited for clean, pressure-free environments such as electric motors, compact gearboxes and internal transmission assemblies.
